In this interview we will learn a little about the most personal facet of our Esparraguera Warehouse Management Supervisor, Rubén González.

Rubén GonzálezHow long have you been working at Ventós?
Almost 22 years.

Tell us about your day-to-day tasks:
From supervising incoming goods to be received, managing order preparation for customers, and coordinating the shipment of prepared orders.

What sets Ventós apart in the market?
Without any doubt, the quality and speed of the service we provide to our customers.

What do you like most about your job?
What I like most is seeing day by day how everything has grown since I joined in 2004. It’s truly breathtaking, and feeling like a real part of that growth is very rewarding.

Out of the 3,500 products we keep in stock, which one is your favorite?
Vetiver.

If you had to create a fragrance with your name, what would it smell like?
It would definitely include some orange blossom

What smells take you back to your childhood?
The smell of orange blossom from my Andalusia, and the smell of hot olive oil from my grandparents’ kitchen.

Your ideal holiday destination? What would your perfect vacation be like?
A beach, sunshine, crystal-clear water, few people, a few beers, friends and/or family. I don’t need anything else.

Is there a talent or curiosity about you that people are usually surprised to discover?
That I think more than they believe, hahaha.

What kind of music do you listen to? Favorite singer?
Pure flamenco, but my favorite singer is definitely Joaquín Sabina.

What is your favorite hobby?
Doing sports.

What’s the best piece of professional advice you’ve ever received?
To work hard, because everything worth having takes effort to achieve. (My parents).

If you could have a superpower for a day, what would it be and why?
To know how to work as a surgeon in any specialty, so I could help people live.
