My name is Sandra Sanjuan Cases and I work in Administration, handling part of the customer department and covering for Ana at reception during her holidays.
How long have you been working at Ventós?
I started working on June 11th, 2019. Yes, yes… just a few months before Covid 😉.
Tell us about your day-to-day responsibilities:
My work is divided into two areas. On one hand, I work with the customer side, supporting the sales team in processing orders, managing incidents, and handling everything related to invoicing. On the other hand, I manage the application used for company card expenses related to travel, trade fairs, and purchasing materials.
What differentiates Ventós in the market?
Ventós stands out because of the wide range of products in our catalogue, as well as the commitment and great efficiency of our employees.
What do you like most about your job?
What I enjoy the most is being able to interact with the different departments that make up our company.
Out of the 3,500 products we keep in stock, which one is your favorite?
I actually have two products tied for first place. The first one is Raspberry Ketone, and very close behind is Black Pepper Oil.
What scents take you back to your childhood?
Without a doubt, the scent of roses. My uncles had a large rose garden at their house, and I remember that every time I arrived, I would immediately go and smell them. Sometimes I would even leave their house carrying several roses in different shades.
Your ideal vacation destination? What would your perfect vacation be like?
My ideal holiday would be visiting a place I’ve never been to before. I like combining the excitement of exploring cities with two or three days of relaxation somewhere peaceful.
What makes you feel most proud outside of work?
My family and my closest friends, who always trust me 100%.
What is the best piece of advice you have received in your professional life?
It gives you a lot of confidence when a manager encourages you to raise your hand when a mistake has been made. Being able to report an issue as soon as you realize something has gone wrong helps find a quick and effective solution.
What style of music do you listen to? Who is your favorite singer?
I love Pop/Rock music, and my favorite band is Coldplay.
If you could have dinner with anyone, living or historical, who would it be?
Do I really have to choose just one person? Impossible! I think I would organize a dinner party and gather all these people around the same table: Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo Buonarroti, Audrey Hepburn, Isabel Coixet and Pedro Almodóvar. Sounds like quite an explosive dinner, doesn’t it? Maybe too much creativity together?
What small, everyday thing brings you happiness?
Hahaha, I’m going to give a very typical answer, but the first thing that came to my mind was: my children’s smiles — seeing them happy and the sparkle in their eyes when they’re having the best time.
