With a gray-blue color, this variety of Lavandin is one of the most cultivated in Spain due to its good adaptation to the climate, although its yields are essentially lower than those of the grosso variety. Its wild notes, but with a finer essence than the grosso variety, also make it highly valued among perfumers. Spain seems to be supplying the hectares that France is losing annually.
