Managing the quality control of essential oils and other raw materials mainly intended for the food sector. Cross-functional interaction with the Purchasing Department to ensure proper quality of acquisitions, and with the Sales Department to guarantee that the quality delivered meets customer specifications, among others.

What do you like most about your work?
The dynamic nature of the work and the variety of interactions, which allow me to learn every day and gain a more global and comprehensive understanding of the product, beyond just its quality aspects.

A high-quality lemon oil – although it may seem simple, it’s full of nuances. I love its aromatic combination with a hint of acidity, both in terms of scent and taste.
What smells transport you back to your childhood?
The scent of cis-3-hexenol and related compounds, which remind me of the grass near the swimming pool in the neighborhood where I lived – it instantly takes me back to my childhood summers.
What is your ideal vacation destination? What would your perfect vacation be like?
A mix of relaxation and disconnecting, but also with some leisure and sightseeing. If it’s purely relaxation, I get restless by the third day and can end up bothering the rest of the family, haha. And ideally, not during the hot summer season.
What is the main trait of your character?
I’m quite transparent in daily life, so there aren’t many surprises.
What style of music do you listen to? Who is your favorite singer?
I don’t have a clear favorite. It depends on the phase—I might be jumping between stations or looping bands I used to listen to years ago, like Linkin Park, Paramore, Vetusta Morla, etc.
What is your favorite pastime?
Tennis—both watching and playing it—and gastronomy and cooking.
